Limped into ford dealer, he replaced the radiator. Bought extended warranty after paying for radiator. 3K miles later lower hose was leaking on radiator.
It will stop a leak, this is true. The issue is that it more often than not, it clogs other things too, like the heater core, thermostat, and even the radiator. If you dont put a lot of moles on it, sure, itll work, but you always run that risk of a clump of stop leak breaking off and clogging something. [deleted]
Just got through going thru that nightmare too - some jagoffs prayed and poured stop leak repeatedly into a Buick with leaking heater core. They even put it in the slobber tank which is the old type that "holds and siphons", not a circulating type tank. Bottom is tight with the lower hose n stuff. That id fix the bend with hard line "if" you think the radiator side may take on more damage in cutting it. Hit the auto parts store for a 6- 8 " piece of 5/16th with the fitting and toss the 90 bend in that. 5 bucks or so.. Sleeve the straight parts with the rubber.
